On WSL, Codex stores settings in ~/.codex/config.toml inside the Linux home directory.
Use your Lambda API key as a Bearer token when calling the MCP endpoint
https://api.lambda.dev/mcp/codex. The endpoint exposes your shared context files through the
Model Context Protocol,
so Codex (or any MCP client) can list those resources on demand.
Update ~/.codex/config.toml (macOS/Linux/WSL) or %APPDATA%\Codex\config.toml (Windows) with the configuration below, then add the environment variable to your shell.
