Desktop Automation Clients
Connection credentials for your desktop machines. Each registered client gets a Client ID and secret that link the Lambda Automation desktop app to Lambda over a secure WebSocket, so you can run your scripts on that machine from the web editor and chat.
These Lambda API keys and desktop clients stay personal to your account. Adding organization members does not make this computer accessible to them. If a teammate should control their own computer, they need to register a separate desktop client with their own Lambda API key.
How it works
- Register a client below → get a Client ID and Client Secret (
ldev_xxx...) - Enter the secret in the Lambda Automation desktop app → it connects to Lambda over a secure WebSocket
- Run your scripts on this machine — straight from the web editor, or by asking the chat assistant
- Optional: AI-assisted runs — connect Claude or ChatGPT to the lambda-editor MCP and they can trigger these scripts on your desktop for you

Connect your Gmail to read and send — secure sign-in, no app password
Microsoft 365 / Outlook
Send from your Microsoft or Outlook inbox via SMTP
Other SMTP host
Any provider — enter host, port and login manually
